COMPLETION YEAR: 2006

CLIENT: Stureplansgruppen

Concept and realization of a nightclub in the city center. A place for dancing equipped with the latest technology in lightning and sound. By its flexibility Teatron can be used as a bar early in the evening and as a sanctuary for electronic music later at night. We created glowing sitting groups with plastic tubes and used broken laminated glass as background surfaces on walls. The broken glass comes back as a theme in the project as well as in the graphic identity designed by Jesper Versfeld. Photo credits: Åke E:son Lindman

The starting point was to create a strong contrast between the public part of the apartment (living room dining room) reinforced the 19 th century architecture, and a radically modern private half which is super practical and offers a large amount of storage space. The circulation through the apartment is achieved through a light blue laminate corridor where each panel is either a door either the front of a storage space.
